What you learn: This class is designed to build upon the knowledge gained in the first AutoDesk 3DS MAX class. In this course, advanced topics such as lighting effects, NURBS, and advanced animation commands are covered. This course works to give you a better understanding in creating a more realistic virtual enviornment.

Prerequisite: Fundamental working knowledge of the Windows environment. The first AutoDesk 3DS MAX class is also a prerequesite. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus but is not required.

Course Description: We will begin with learning advanced control commands, expanding on the previous course. We will also be discussing the AutoDesk 3DS MAX's Integration with AutoCAD. We will use the powerful editing features of the program to add reality to your animations.

Grading: Class participants will receive a grade for their contributions to the class. There will be quizzes and tests to ensure that class participants fully understand the topics being presented.

Open labs: Open labs are available for use in completing homework assignments and for additional "practice time" by the class participants. There is an additional cost for using open labs. Please contact us to receive that information.
